FAQs
How will I know how much I get paid on a prefunding case?
A real-time calculator in our software will determine the amount to be paid based on the percentage down payment and the payment term. If you do not like the buyout percentage you can choose to keep the receivable and collect your money over time.

How do I get paid?
If you choose prefunding, the lender will pay you via an ACH from our system within 10 business days. If you choose the payment plan option, you will collect your money over time based on the payment schedule agreed to with the patient.

Who does the patient pay?
The patient pays you and funds are deposited into your bank account. If you have chosen to be prefunded by the lender, the payment is automatically removed by our system and repaid to the lender.

Am I required to use your billing service?
Only if you are utilizing the prefunding solution. We are contractually obligated to administer billing support if any of your plans are prefunded.

Is the prefunding payment to me non-recourse?
Prefunded plans are non-recourse as long as the patient makes two successful payments and all services and product have been delivered.

Do I have to send or fax patient agreements or other documents to you?
No, but you are required to keep on record the signed payment agreement for 4 years.

Can you process virtual checks?
Yes, we accept payments from any checking or savings account.

When do deposits occur?
Credit card payments post to your account in 24-48 hours and virtual checks in 3-5 business days.

Can I store patient payment profiles for future use?
Yes, the Payment Accelerator is PCI compliant and can safely store payment information. All information is masked, encrypted and stored in our payment vault.

Do you support multiple user roles?
Yes, each user is assigned their own unique password, and privileges are based on their role within the organization or location.

Can payments be posted directly into my accounting and/or practice management system?
Yes, you can import a file directly into most software systems.
